Schmelk of Nikolsburg

The world has so much so-called evil in it that it would be impossible to forgive every wrong that occurs. And yet we are told to forgive all sins, even in ourselves. This would be possible in an ideal world, but in this ago of our evolution, we haven't the slightest chance of realizing complete forgiveness. Maybe if we blew ourselves up and got a fresh start if might work. Sometimes when you start from scratch you get it right.

I agree. I don't think it is possible to forgive some people for what they have done. I have been waiting for a good answer on why we should forgive those that cause great pain (such as serial killers and rapists) but have yet to receive one.
