Abuabdallah Al-Harith Al-Muhasibi
Over and over, Al Muhasibi tells us of the extreme bliss felt by those who have a close relationship with God. He speaks of God as a lover and of the ecstasy in being close to God.
My life now is about being a college student. Were I to be 17 again (and know then what I know now), I would spend a lifetime in academics. What a joy to learn to think new thoughts! I hope to learn new languages, travel the world, and immerse myself in my life-long interest; learning about the world's religions. A belief in *something* beyond ourselves is the one commonality we share with each other, no matter *what* that belief may be.
