Huang Po

Once again we are told to go within ourselves to find ourselves. And all the time we are searching for something that cannot be found, such as the warrior who thought he had lost his pearl when it was already in his possession. He was looking outwardly to find something he already had inside.

I like the term "conceptual thinking" because it describes what we see as "reality," such as the lost pearl turning out to be an unreal situation. No matter how many words or illustrations Huang Po uses, his philosophy leads to one conclusion: there is no reality. Everything is mind.
