Jesus of Nazareth

What timeless advice for living is given us by Jesus of Nazareth! He was down to earth and spoke in parables in which all could hear and understand.

Over and over Jesus tells us not to be concerned with material things, and to turn our thoughts and energy over to God. God will supply all our needs. It seems to me that one of Jesus' most meaningful lessons was the parable about the man whose two sons were completely opposite in their behaviors and yet were loved equally by their father.

The final part of this essay sound as if Jesus' words had come out of the Eastern philosophies, in that we need not look elsewhere for the kingdom of God as it is already within us.

I truly believe that this is timeless advice that Jesus gave us also! It is not written in code for us to ponder and maybe one day figure out; it is laid out for us and easy to understand!
Great job :)

I really enjoy how Jesus was so into the idea that people should not care about material possessions and wealth. It seems like for an early society to thrive it is better for a person to give the money they do not need to the people who do need it.

Whoa. So when you post a comment you will see at the top of the page, "Your comment has been saved." My first thought was that my comment was blessed by God or something.
