Dogen

A very wise man recently said to me that "we all have to start where we are." What a profound statement, and it has given me pause to think about what it means. From those words, I choose to believe that he was referring to the search for the self, but that's an impossible task because in finding the self we must first lose the self. And whatever we are looking for is already in us.
